Client Restoration Project

Through Northern Lights Restoration’s membership with Southern Innkeepers Association, The Boar’s Head Resort hired us as a partner to assist in maintaining the quality furniture throughout the property. We initially refinished the Mill Room Restaurant’s dining tables and chairs, working closely with their food and beverage staff to complete the refinishing process in between breakfast, lunch and dinner schedules and keeping all operations flowing seamlessly.

We continue to work with them on refinishing the guestroom furniture as time and budgets allow.

Originating from a 1734 land grant, The Boar’s Head Resort was once known as the 1759 Inn called Terrell’s Ordinary. The more modern resort was built in and opened in 1964, with a restored 1835 grist mill as a centerpiece. It was purchased by the University of Virginia Foundation in 1989.
