Francis Marion Hotel hired Northern Lights Restoration to refinish multiple pieces of furniture within their lobby and public areas. Since 2019, we have returned several times to help keep the quality of their hotel at 100%, for the best guest experience. From lobby furniture to elevator interiors to grand staircase hand rails, we have kept them happy with our service at a minimal disruption and cost.
The Francis Marion Hotel was built in 1924 for $1.5 million and has survived decades of changes in ownership and restoration efforts. It was known as “Grande Dame of the Carolinas”. At the time, it was the tallest building in the eastern part of South Carolina. It continues to thrive as a historic part of Charleston.
