The Pelican Inn is one of 5 unique properties owned and operated by North American County Inns. On two occasions, Northern Lights Restoration provided our on site refinishing service for this unique boutique inn. We restored all the antique furnishings in each of the 7 guestrooms, their English Pub, living room and restaurant tables and chairs.
The Pelican Inn was built by Englishmen Charles Feliz in 1978 in the style of a 16th century English Inn. The beauty of the exterior as you pull up to the property and very unique interior, feels like you are in a quaint English Village. The name “Pelican” comes from Sir Francis Drake, who sailed his ship, the Pelican, off the California coast in the 16th century.
